Health insurance companies have announced new coverage for new patients as the year draws to a close.
Princeton Medical Insurance, which operates the largest provider of health insurance in the state, says its coverage for patients who were diagnosed with the coronavirus will be extended through Jan. 31.
The company also announced it will provide coverage for people with new or delayed heart surgery, and that people with certain chronic conditions like diabetes or heart failure will have access to coverage.

The company is also asking that customers with health insurance plans that are not covered by other health insurance companies to sign up.
